The proven technology has a radio approval (FCC/IC) and is CE-compliant, which means that no additional radio certification is required for the use of the product.

Customers who prefer the radar sensor with a housing and defined electrical interfaces can order the radar module UTR30. Electrical connectivity is available through an M12 connector or a prefabricated and connected cable. An integrated RS422 interface transmits the digital signal over long distances. The module is ready for coupling to the process connections. It can also be used outdoors at temperatures from –40 to +85 °C.
