Radar module and radar level sensor
Our component for precise, continuous level monitoring
Products for level monitoring of liquids or solids
Radar module UTR30
Our all-rounder: The free-radiating radar module based on FMCW technology
Simple implementation for a wide range of applications
With our radar sensor for level measurement and our radar module, we offer you real all-rounders, which are particularly suitable for monitoring levels of liquids or solids. The continuous, non-contact measurement according to the time-of-flight principle enables precise measurement in tanks and silos up to 15m deep as well as the measurement of water levels. Our products are available in different versions, from the pure sensor to the customized radar module with a defined electrical interface.
- Environmental Industry
In the environmental industry, a radar level sensor is used to precisely measure water levels.
- Construction Industry
A level measurement radar sensor is ideally suited for measuring solids in tanks and silos. Due to the continuous, non-contact measurement, it is also suitable for monitoring fill levels.

Things to know about radar technology
How does the measurement by radar sensor work?
The measurement is carried out according to the Time-of-Flight (ToF) time-of-flight method. A signal is emitted and reflected by the object to be measured, which allows the distance to be determined.
In which areas is the radar technology used?
In addition to measuring and monitoring levels and gauges, our low-power level measurement radar sensor is also used in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. Within production environments or autonomous navigation, linked devices exchange telemetry or sensor data.
What challenges can be overcome through the use of radar technology
Due to its characteristics, radar measurement technology is ideally suited for overcoming challenges such as movements in the tank, rapid temperature changes, or harsh weather conditions.
